免疫は「ほとんど無限の種類の抗体を作れる」と言われる。本稿は、作れる種類の数と、体が実際に抱えている数が別の量で、どちらが多いかが一つの代表値で入れ替わることを数える。新しい定理も法則も主張しない。

第一に、掛け算がよく効く。重鎖 $6000$ 通りと軽鎖 $200$ 通りで $1.200000\times10^{6}$ 通りになり、部品は合わせて $116$ 個しかない（第2節）。

第二に、それだけで遺伝子の数を桁で超える。遺伝子 $2\times10^{4}$ 個に対し、作れる種類は $\mathbf{6.000000}\times10^{6}$ 倍である（第2節）。

第三に、これが本稿の芯である。どちらが多いかは、つなぎ目の多様性で入れ替わる。$10^{5}$ 倍と置くと作れる種類は $1.200000\times10^{11}$ 通りで、リンパ球 $10^{12}$ 個のほうが $\mathbf{8.333333}$ 倍多い（第3節）。

第四に、境目は一つの数で書ける。つなぎ目の多様性が $\mathbf{8.333333}\times10^{5}$ 倍を超えると、体は作れる種類を全部は持てなくなる（第3節）。

第五に、その両側で、免疫の言葉の意味が変わる。下側では「すべての形をいつも持っている」、上側では「そのつど引き当てる」になる（第4節）。

第六に、分離子は、組み合わせの数を数えるか、体にある数を数えるかである。「種類が多い」という言葉が、二つの別の量を指している（第4節）。

Abstract

The immune system is said to make almost unlimited kinds of antibody.This paper counts that the number it can make and the number the body holds are different quantities, and that which is larger flips on one representative value.No new theorem or law is claimed.

First, multiplication does the work、$6000$ heavy chains and $200$ light ones give $1.200000\times10^{6}$ pairings, from only $116$ parts in all (Section 2).

Second, that alone passes the gene count by orders of magnitude、it is $\mathbf{6.000000}\times10^{6}$ times the $2\times10^{4}$ genes (Section 2).

Third, and this is the core. Which is larger flips with the junctional diversity、at $10^{5}$-fold the possible types number $1.200000\times10^{11}$, and the body’s $10^{12}$ lymphocytes exceed them by $\mathbf{8.333333}$ (Section 3).

Fourth, the crossing is one number、above $\mathbf{8.333333}\times10^{5}$-fold the body can no longer hold every possible type (Section 3).

Fifth, the meaning of the immune claim changes across it、below it the body always holds every shape; above it, it draws them as needed (Section 4).

Sixth, the separator is whether one counts the combinations or the stock in the body、one phrase, “many kinds”, points at two different quantities (Section 4).
