火災荷重は、その部屋に何 MJ 蓄えられているかという量である。それは総量を厳密に決めるが、熱く短いかぬるく長いかについては何も言わない。同じ総量の下で継続時間が何倍動くかを数える。新しい定理も法則も主張しない。

第一に、総量は換気に依らない。火災荷重密度 $600$ MJ/m²・床面積 $100$ m² で $60000$ MJ である（第2節）。

第二に、これが本稿の芯である。同じ総量で、継続時間が四倍の幅を持つ、開口 $5$ m² なら $\mathbf{94.280904}$ 分、$20$ m² なら $\mathbf{23.570226}$ 分である（第2節）。

第三に、開口を倍にすると、継続はちょうど半分になる。発熱は $\mathbf{2.000000}$ 倍、継続は $\mathbf{0.500000}$ 倍である（第3節）。

第四に、それでも総量は動かない。発熱と継続の積は、どちらの場合も $60000$ MJ で、差は $10^{-6}$ MJ 未満である（第3節）。

第五に、高さと面積は交換できる。高さは平方根で効くので、高さを $4$ 倍にすると換気係数はちょうど $\mathbf{2.000000}$ 倍で、面積を $2$ 倍にしたのと同じになる（第3節）。

第六に、分離子は、火事の速さを決めているのが燃料か、空気の入り口かである。燃料は総量を決め、空気の入り口が配分を決める（第4節）。

Abstract

Fire load is how many megajoules a room stores. It fixes the total exactly and says nothing about whether the fire is hot and short or mild and long.How far the duration moves at a fixed total is counted.No new theorem or law is claimed.

First, the total does not depend on ventilation、$600$ MJ/m² over $100$ m² is $60000$ MJ (Section 2).

Second, and this is the core. At the same total the duration spans a factor of four、$\mathbf{94.280904}$ minutes with a $5$ m² opening and $\mathbf{23.570226}$ with $20$ m² (Section 2).

Third, doubling the opening halves the duration exactly、the heat release by $\mathbf{2.000000}$ and the duration by $\mathbf{0.500000}$ (Section 3).

Fourth, and the total still does not move、the product is $60000$ MJ in both cases, differing by under $10^{-6}$ MJ (Section 3).

Fifth, height and area are interchangeable、height enters under a square root, so quadrupling it multiplies the factor by exactly $\mathbf{2.000000}$, the same as doubling the area (Section 3).

Sixth, the separator is whether the pace of the fire is set by the fuel or by the opening、the fuel fixes the total and the opening fixes how it is spread (Section 4).
