本稿が問うのは、ティックの無い枠に足を作るか作らないかで、指標の答えがどれだけ変わるか、である。新しい数学定理も新しい法則も主張しない。

第一に、★ 欠けた枠は 1 時間足で 0.0234、金だけ 0.0369 ある。 そして予言①は外れた。時刻ではなく特定の日に固まっている（2021-05-31 に 20 本、2020-11-30 に 19 本、12 月 25 日に 14 本）（第3節）。

第二に、★ 値はほとんど動かない。 移動平均のずれの中央は三つの期間とも 0.0000 pips である。そもそも窓に欠けた枠が入っている足が 0.0835 から 0.1754 しかない（第4節）。

第三に、★ 判定はもっと動かない。 価格が移動平均の上か下かの食い違いは、期間 20・50・200 のどれでも 0.0061 である。RSI が 70 を超えたかは 0.0031 である（第5節）。

第四に、これが本稿の芯である。★★ だが数え上げた回数は動く。 移動平均 20 と 80 のクロスの回数は 1.0140 から 1.0587 倍（中央 1.0238）に増える（第6節）。

第五に、★★ ATR も、中央では何も起きないのに端で壊れる。 比の中央は 1.0000 だが、中央どうしの比は 0.9732、比の平均は 0.9824、いちばん下がった窓では 0.0690 倍である（第5節）。

第六に、★ これは市場の性質ではない。 合成乱数でも ATR の比は中央 1.0000 で同じである（第7節）。

Abstract

What this paper asks is how much an indicator's answer changes when bars are, or are not, created for slots with no ticks. No new mathematical theorem and no new law is claimed.

First, ★ the missing slots are 0.0234 of hourly bars, and 0.0369 for gold. And prediction ① failed: they cluster on particular days, not particular hours (20 on 2021-05-31, 19 on 2020-11-30, 14 on 25 December) (Section 3).

Second, ★ the values barely move. The median difference in the moving average is 0.0000 pips at all three periods. Only 0.0835 to 0.1754 of bars have a missing slot inside their window at all (Section 4).

Third, ★ the verdicts move even less. Whether the price is above or below the moving average disagrees on 0.0061 of bars at periods 20, 50 and 200 alike. Whether RSI exceeds 70 disagrees on 0.0031 (Section 5).

Fourth, and this is the core of the paper: ★★ the counts do move. The number of crosses between the 20- and 80-period moving averages rises by 1.0140 to 1.0587 times (median 1.0238) (Section 6).

Fifth, ★★ ATR too does nothing at the median and breaks at the edge. The median ratio is 1.0000, yet median against median is 0.9732, the mean ratio is 0.9824, and in the worst window it is 0.0690 (Section 5).

Sixth, ★ none of this is a property of the market. On a synthetic random walk the ATR ratio is the same 1.0000 at the median (Section 7).
