要旨

錨を打つとき、鎖は水深の何倍と決めて出す。本稿が示すのは、要る長さの水深に対する比が一定ではなく、荷重と鎖の重さの比 $a/d$ だけで決まること、そして錨を水平に引かせているのは錨ではなく鎖の重さであることである。新しい定理も法則も主張しない。

第一に、要る長さには閉じた式がある。錨のところで鎖が海底に接する最短の長さは $\sqrt{d^{2}+2da}$ で、形は論文327 の懸垂線である（第2節）。

第二に、これが本稿の芯である。水深に対する比は $a/d$ だけで決まる。「$5$〜$7$ 倍」は $a/d=12$ と $24$ にちょうど当たり、$\mathbf{5.000000}$ と $\mathbf{7.000000}$ を返す（第2節）。

第三に、同じ荷重なら深いほど比は小さい。水深 $5$ m で $\mathbf{4.582576}$ 倍、$80$ m で $\mathbf{1.500000}$ 倍。長さそのものは伸びる（第3節）。

第四に、荷重を $2$ 倍にしても長さは $2$ 倍にならない。水深 $10$ m で $\mathbf{1.381699}$ 倍（第3節）。

第五に、足りなければ錨が持ち上がる。必要長の $0.95$ 倍で $\mathbf{1.960175}$ 度、半分で $\mathbf{30.823826}$ 度（第4節）。

第六に、分離子は、索に水中重量があるかどうかである。重さの無い索は、スコープ $5$ でも $\mathbf{11.536959}$ 度で引き、どれだけ長くしても水平にならない（第5節）。

Abstract

When anchoring, chain is paid out as a multiple of the depth.What this paper shows is that the ratio of chain to depth is not constant but set by $a/d$ alone, and that what keeps the anchor pulled horizontally is not the anchor but the weight of the chain.No new theorem or law is claimed.

First, the length needed has a closed form、the shortest chain meeting the seabed at the anchor is $\sqrt{d^{2}+2da}$, its shape the catenary of Paper 327 (Section 2).

Second, and this is the core.The ratio to depth depends on $a/d$ alone、“five to seven times” falls exactly at $a/d=12$ and $24$, returning $\mathbf{5.000000}$ and $\mathbf{7.000000}$ (Section 2).

Third, at a fixed load the ratio falls with depth、$\mathbf{4.582576}$ at $5$ m and $\mathbf{1.500000}$ at $80$ m, though the length itself grows (Section 3).

Fourth, doubling the load does not double the chain、$\mathbf{1.381699}$ times at a depth of $10$ m (Section 3).

Fifth, a chain too short lifts the anchor、$\mathbf{1.960175}$ degrees at $0.95$ of the length needed, $\mathbf{30.823826}$ at half (Section 4).

Sixth, the separator is whether the line has submerged weight、a weightless line pulls at $\mathbf{11.536959}$ degrees even at a scope of five, and no length makes it horizontal (Section 5).
