要旨

時間と空間は、物を入れる容器（絶対的な実体）なのか、それとも物どうしの関係（順序）なのか。ニュートンは前者（絶対空間・絶対時間）を採り、ゴットフリート・ライプニッツは後者を採った。空間は共存の秩序、時間は継起の秩序（ライプニッツ＝クラーク往復書簡, 1715–16）。この関係論は、マッハ、アインシュタインの一般相対論、そしてロヴェッリの関係論的な時間へと流れ、体系の論文82（練行足＝出来事ベースの時間）と直に響く。本稿はまず、この関係論の系譜を整理する。だがライプニッツにはもう一つの顔がある。「可能な最善世界」という最善原理で、これはしばしばモーペルテュイ／オイラーの最小作用原理の哲学的先駆と語られる。ここに罠がある。「最善」は世界が目的に向かうという目的論だが、体系の論文84は最小作用は目的論ではない（$\delta S=0$ は $F=ma$ と等価な局所条件で、見かけの目的はファインマン経路積分の干渉に溶ける）と示した。ゆえに本稿の要点は別根の峻別（論文58/48）だ：(1) ライプニッツの関係論的時間・空間（＝関係の秩序・体系82の源流）と、(2) 最善原理という目的論的動機（＝美しい直観だが、最小作用の正しい理解ではない・84）は別の根であり、混同してはならない。関係論は体系に生き、目的論は退けられ、正しい形（変分＝局所条件）に置き換わる。射程：科学哲学・力学史の構造的解釈（第2層）で、新しい数学も予言も生まない。宇宙OSは第3層・非科学のレンズ。

Abstract

Are time and space a container (an absolute substance) that holds things, or the relations (orders) among things themselves? Newton took the former (absolute space and time); Gottfried Leibniz took the latter（space is the order of coexistence, time the order of succession (the Leibniz–Clarke correspondence, 1715–16). This relationalism flows to Mach, to Einstein’s general relativity, and to Rovelli’s relational time, resonating directly with the corpus’s Paper 82 (event-based time, the Renko chart). This paper first organizes that lineage. But Leibniz has another face）the principle of “the best of all possible worlds”, which is often told as the philosophical forerunner of the principle of least action (Maupertuis / Euler). Here lies a trap. “The best” is a teleology（that the world is aimed at a purpose）but the corpus’s Paper 84 showed that least action is not teleology ($\delta S=0$ is a local condition equivalent to $F=ma$, and the apparent purpose dissolves into the interference of Feynman’s path integral). Hence the point of this paper is the separation of distinct roots (Papers 58/48): (1) Leibniz’s relational time and space (the order of relations, the source of Paper 82) and (2) the teleological motive of “the best” (a beautiful intuition, but not the correct understanding of least action, Paper 84) are distinct roots and must not be conflated. Relationalism lives on in the corpus; the teleology is rejected and replaced by the correct form (variation = a local condition). Scope: a Layer-2 structural interpretation of philosophy of science and the history of mechanics; no new mathematics and no new prediction. The Universe OS is a Layer-3 non-science lens.
